Historia
With another devastatingly hilarious, ridiculous, unnervingly accurate take on modern womanhood, Bridget Jones is back. Searching for The Truth in spite of pathetically unevolved men, insane dating theories, and Smug Married advice, Bridget experiences a zeitgeist-esque Spiritual Epiphany somewhere between the pages of How to Find the Love You Want Without Seeking It, protective custody, and a lightly chilled Chardonnay.

So so sad
Revisado: 09-29-05
It pains me to give Bridget such a low rating. I love Bridget. Love everything about her. Have read the books a billion times. However, THIS NARRATOR IS TERRIBLE!!! I couldn't make it more that about an hour. She wheezes and spits out some of the characters... making you want to strangle her and beg her to stop. She ruins a very very good thing.

Historia
A delightfully dishy novel about the all-time most impossible boss in the history of impossible bosses. Andrea Sachs, a small-town girl fresh out of college, lands the job “a million girls would die for.” Hired as the assistant to Miranda Priestly, the high-profile, fabulously successful editor of Runway magazine, Andrea finds herself in an office that shouts Prada! Armani! Versace! at every turn, a world populated by impossibly thin, heart-wrenchingly stylish women and beautiful men clad in fine-ribbed turtlenecks and tight leather pants that show off their lifelong dedication to the gym.

Very funny

As a twenty something new to the workforce myself... totally loved this exaggerated farce of workplace rediculousness. In some way, I think we've all "been there". I have listened to this book over and over it, and enjoy it each time. Bernadette is an amazing narrator, switiching seemlessly from Miranda to Andrea to a NY cabbie. She brings the story to life. Nothing earth shattering here... just some fun.

LOVE SOPHIE
Revisado: 09-29-05
From the opening lines of this book... I was hooked. I can identify with Sophies characters. There are some laugh out loud moments, great romance and chracter development. I loved it. Unexpected depth and fun all at the same time. Sophie continues to delight her readers. Can somebody find me a real Jack out there?

SOOOO disapointing!!!
Revisado: 09-29-05
I have read Nanny Diaries three times... and each time I laugh more. This book was a huge flop- extremely disappointing. PLEASE DON'T GET IT!!! "Plot" if you can call it that, is tedious and hard to follow. There are no redeemable moments. Girl is an obnoxious and forgettable character, surrounding by co- characters of jerks, wimps and utterly indistinguishable people. Hopefully the witty team that brought us their first offering of Nanny will turn up again, because there is no trace of them in this pathetic offering.
