A hard book to start with mechanical narration

That was the coldest and most mechanical narration I've ever listened to. I have to admit that it matched the book somewhat but it made it so much more difficult to connect to the stort.
The story itself behind all over the place. After I've an hour into the book it starts to make sense and not sound like a shopping list or a religious reading. After forcing myself through the beginning, the story is not bad.

Great story with a reasonable performance

I was hesitant to buy this title as I really like Brandon Sanderson, but don't like dramatized versions of audiobooks. This is the first dramatized audiobook I've listened to which was reasonable.

Too mutch noise

An amazing book read with a lot of clutter

I've read the book and it's a masterpiece as well as a great entry point to Brandon Sanderson's work. That said, the dramatization of the book is too noisy and it's hard to understand some of the words as the sound effects overlay the narration and conversations. I had to significantly slow my accustomed playback speed in order to understand some of the words (which were hard to understand even at x1 speed).
