This is an outstanding book, by a really savvy marketing genius. In addition, the narrator makes the book very interesting and hard to stop listening to.

I have read all of Don Winslow‘s books from the Cartel series, and this one certainly was as good as the others. A fantastic story, well told and well narrated. Highly recommended.

An Important Book about our Opioid Crisis

I purchased this book after reading another great book, “The Border“ by Dan Winslow. I wanted to understand from a factual perspective how the prescription drug issue contributed to the opioid crisis. This was a fantastic, informative book that anybody concerned about this nation’s drug problem like to read.

I have read every Vince Flynn/Mitch Rapp book twice. This was not worthy of the Vince Flynn's name. I like Scott Brick, but Scott Brick is the wrong narrator for a Mitch Rapp book.

Another great book from Carl hiaasen. The story was fantastic, and the setting in Key West was really terrific. Definitely recommended for a road trip!

This is a great and scary story. It really is relevant with current events in the world. I missed several exits off the highway because I was so engrossed in the book!

Awesomely funny, well-told story

Would you listen to Lamb again? Why?

This is a wonderfully told, light hearted "Biblical" story without being sacrilegious. Laugh out loud funny and I could certainly visualize the people and the places.

What other book might you compare Lamb to and why?

Similar to Dogma but without the edge.

What about Fisher Stevens’s performance did you like?

Fisher did a great job as the reader.

If you could take any character from Lamb out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Of course, who wouldn't want to have dinner with Jesus H. Christ, but I'd want BIF to come along too.

Not a great Steve Berry & definitely not Dan Brown

Would you try another book from Steve Berry and/or Scott Brick?

I always look forward to the new Steven Berry book and I think Scott Brick is a great reader. But King's Deception just didn't do it for me. I suspect that Berry was 1/2 way through writing the book when Ghadaffi was killed, so he had to do the story as a recollection, which was a distraction early on.

I just never got into the story, but I also don't care much about British Royalty or history.

I slogged through to the end, but it definitely put me to sleep several times.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The least interesting part was the arcane British history.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Scott was overly dramatic at times.
