Historia
Since the fall of the Soviet Union, long-suppressed information has emerged on Heisenberg’s role in the Nazi atomic bomb project. In Beyond Uncertainty, Cassidy interprets this and other previously unknown material within the context of his vast research and tackles the vexing questions of a scientist’s personal responsibility and guilt when serving an abhorrent military regime.

Perfect balance of biography and science writing. Non science-oriented people might find the physics tedious. Very clear narrative and clean prose.

Historia
The New York Times best-selling novel from Garth Stein - a heart-wrenching but deeply funny and ultimately uplifting story of family, love, loyalty, and hope - a captivating look at the wonders and absurdities of human life...as only a dog could tell it.

It's a Dog's Life

Great plotting and the twist of the narrator being a very smart family dog really boost this novel from the ordinary. Somehow it reminded me of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, sans the existentialism. Quite entertaining!

Historia
This little book of often-hilarious, semi-warped poetry will appeal to ne'er do wells, Jezebels, scallywags and those allergic to frou frou. Writer and blogger Moonbeam McQueen rhymes her way through the subjects of romance, aging, music, technology, the Great Outdoors and more. Buy one for yourself and one for a friend - they'll love you for it, and so will Ms. McQueen.

Peculiar, Intimate, Perceptive and Unique

Listening to this lovely book the second time, on my cell phone, it was quite a thrill to hear that guy at the end say “Audible hopes you have enjoyed this program”. I SURE DID BUDDY! Been reading Moonbeam's blog for five years now and her posts there take on things you would not expect to find in a personal blog. By turns comical, sweet, sad, caring and perceptive, this little book of verse is all that and then some.
I’ve been listening to lots of books since becoming a member of Audible.com, and Moonbeam's was the first one I could hear in its entirety half on the way to work and half on the way home. Moonie’s gentle Southern lilt and the thoughtful little rhymes really put me in a nice frame of mind. I'm sure I will listen to this again, and soon. What a bargain at twice the price!
I hope McQueen continues with the audio format and look forward to listening to some of her prose!
