Mixed feelings. Not what I hoped for.
Revisado: 11-04-23
I hoped to learn tools and angles to bridging the gender (and diversity) gap, but I felt this was pretty much the same old pitting women vs men. There were all the usual facts on how women are discriminated against in the work force, which are of course important facts and show how the issue is still very much topical. The issue however is that throwing more and more facts at people usually does not do much to resolve issues and I feel I got very little in terms of tools I could apply. I would have liked to hear more about the mechanics leading to the issues rather than the issues themselves. Having gone through the book I feel that it generalised masculinity as men and femininity as women.
