Historia
We all get the same 24 hours in a day, yet a special few seem to have superhuman abilities when it comes to accomplishing great things in life. Tommy Barnett, a proven master at “getting things done,” says the key to maximizing your productivity is to make use of small, manageable moments in your day - just 30 minutes at a time. In this remarkably practical book, Tommy shows how to begin a whole new life of fruitfulness.

Not What I Wanted
Revisado: 02-17-18
This book is probably a great fit for some people, but not for me. I only made it thru the first 2 chapters, so maybe it becomes what I wanted it to be, but I didn't want to continue to find out. I was looking for specific help in managing my life in half hour blocks--an interesting idea. It was more philosophical--examples of how the author's life has changed for better or worse in 30 minutes. It also spoke alot about the idea of finding God's purpose for you and, although I believe in and work on that, I didn't want that from this book. You may like it alot, but it just wasn't for me.

Why do only a few people get to say "I love my job?" It seems unfair that finding fulfillment at work is like winning a lottery; that only a few lucky ones get to feel valued by their organizations, to feel like they belong. Imagine a world where almost everyone wakes up inspired to go to work, feels trusted and valued during the day, then returns home feeling fulfilled. This is not a crazy, idealized notion. Today, in many successful organizations, great leaders are creating environments in which people naturally work together to do remarkable things.

Inspired and Passing It On
Revisado: 03-09-16
I've listened to this book through once and it's not enough for me to truly absorb all of Simon's ideas. I'll be listening again soon. His viewpoint after he explains it, seems so obvious, so deeply true. So human. So inspiring. I pass on what I learn to my coworkers in hopes that they will pass on Simon's belief that success comes through service and care for each other. It sounds corny but it's absolutely true; I'm a better person in the world because I listened to this book. Thanks!
