Historia
Viktor Orlov had a longstanding appointment with death. Once Russia’s richest man, he now resides in splendid exile in London, where he has waged a tireless crusade against the authoritarian kleptocrats who have seized control of the Kremlin. His mansion in Chelsea’s exclusive Cheyne Walk is one of the most heavily protected private dwellings in London. Yet somehow, on a rainy summer evening, in the midst of a global pandemic, Russia’s vengeful president finally manages to cross Orlov’s name off his kill list.

Leave politics out of your books.

Enjoyed all previous Gabriel Allon books until this one. The story wasn't as engaging... and then politics started to crip in. Didn't want to finish listening to this book

Delta Force—the US Army’s most elite top-secret strike force. They dominate the modern battlefield, but you won’t hear about their heroics on CNN. No headlines can reveal their top-secret missions, and no book has ever taken readers inside—until now. Here, a founding member of Delta Force takes us behind the veil of secrecy and into the action to reveal the never-before-told story of First Special Forces Operational Detachment-D (Delta Force).

Wow! what a thrill
Revisado: 09-18-12
This book made me wish for traffic jams so that I could listen to it more. It's a first hand account of the selection, training and day-to-day operations of the most elite military group in the US. Fantastic listen and an excellent narration.

Historia
Psychologist and award-winning columnist Jesse Bering features more than thirty of his most popular essays from Scientific American and Slate, as well as two new pieces, that take listeners on a bold and captivating journey through some of the most taboo issues related to evolution and human behavior. Exploring the history of cannibalism, the neurology of people who are sexually attracted to animals, the evolution of human body fluids, the science of homosexuality, and serious questions about life and death, Bering astutely covers a generous expanse of our kaleidoscope of quirks and origins.

Hilarious and informative
Revisado: 09-18-12
This book was a lot of fun. It's sort of a "questions you were afraid to ask" kind of book and Jesse does an excellent job narrating it. It's full of cheesy but funny puns and addresses all sorts of issues you've likely never read about but were interested in. Definitely worth a listen!

First hand account of an elite navy seal
Revisado: 09-18-12
I looked up this book after the various 'controversy' about it came out. I decided to listen to it regardless of whether Mark Owen acted correctly or not with regards to "secrets." I enjoyed the story a lot, and would recommend it to anyone interested in the military or just in the raid itself. I wasn't crazy about the narration - the narrator sounded a bit 'young' and didn't fit the 'grizzled hard core military' type guy but he did an admirable job keeping it entertaining. If you're interested in the Osama bin Laden mission, this is an excellent account. If you're interested in elite military forces, I would recommend "Inside Delta Force" as that book goes into more detail about training and day-to-day operations.

Historia
Before Liz Lemon, before Weekend Update, before Sarah Palin, Tina Fey was just a young girl with a dream: A recurring stress dream that she was being chased through a local airport by her middle-school gym teacher. She also had a dream that one day she would be a comedian on TV. She has seen both these dreams come true. At last, Tina Fey's story can be told. From her youthful days as a vicious nerd to her tour of duty on Saturday Night Live. Tina Fey reveals all, and proves what we've always suspected: You're no one until someone calls you bossy.

Funny and entertaining book - worth a listen
Revisado: 04-10-12
If you enjoy Tina Fey's SNL work or the type of humor on 30 Rock, you'll love this book. It's written in Tina Fey's signature style. While at times it can go on for a while without any jokes or funny quips, it's still an interesting, biographical account of her life.
