Historia
When you listen to and apply the practices in The Path out of Loneliness, you’ll develop habits that move you from isolation to connection. You’ll learn the importance of attachment, the art of connection, the power of relationships, the priority of personal responsibility, the gift of vulnerability, and the vision of God, who knew from the beginning that it’s not good for us to be abandoned to ourselves. This book will guide you, the people you love, and the community you live in toward a richer, fuller, healthier life.

A Powerful, Precise Plan!!
Revisado: 09-17-21
Listening to Dr. Mayfield read his book made a profound impact on me! I was touched by his vulnerability as he told his personal stories - I never felt alone because his voice was that of a friend. I was engrossed in his professional stories and clinical experience - I have hope that this path out of loneliness will work. I was enamored at his scholarly research and biblical knowledge and application - I know God will walk alongside me in moments of loneliness. I am propelled forward by Dr. Mayfield’s clear and concise path out of loneliness for myself and others - I now have a plan! Please read this once for your own healing and one more time to help another out of their loneliness. Bravo, Dr. Mayfield and thank you for this book!

Historia
Based on seven years of ground-breaking research and hundreds of interviews, I Thought It Was Just Me shines a long-overdue light on an important truth: Our imperfections are what connect us to each other and to our humanity. Our vulnerabilities are not weaknesses; they are powerful reminders to keep our hearts and minds open to the reality that we're all in this together.
