Not much here, and an annoying narrator

I don't get the rave reviews on this one. There isn't much here but common info on countries. Didn't hold my interest at all. The narrator over emphasizes certain words to try to make plain text sound more exciting, but it made me feel like she was reading to a child. Had to stop listening to it.

More to think about than just financial plans

Really great book that balances real life with the financial planning we are all inundated with. I highly recommend this to anyone who is the stages of planning for retirement aince it really makes you consider the whole picture, not just how much money you want/need.

Excellent book with much needed insights.

I highly recommend this book to those in the later stages of their career. It easily explains the challenges successful career focused individuals face as they progress through the stages of life. These insights are life changing in that they help the reader to accept the natural change in focus they will experience as they mature. Loved it.

Loved ever minute of this book!

What a great story! I enjoyed learning about the Princess 's life and how things were in Romania at this time. I had no idea of all that she did and how much she sacrificed of herself to help the people around her. The narration was great as well and really made it feel as if the author was sitting with you telling you what happened.

Wonderful book, better to listen at .85 speed.

Father Goring shares some great insights in this book and I truly enjoyed listening to it. The first time through I found it being read way to fast like they increased the speed of the narration. When I switchd to .85 speed I was able to listen and really enjoy the learnings shared from Father Goring's unique adventure into solitude.

Such wonderful stories! Sorry it ended!

I was sorry this ended and wished it went on and on. The stores are deep and told so well. The narration is very pleasant and I enjoy how the author speaks so openly as if she is sitting right here telling you about what she experienced. I hope she writes more books about where she is now and what is happening around her!

WOW! I loved this book! So enjoyable!

Another reviewer stated they were disappointed when this ended. That is how I felt too. Listening to this was like being swept off to a far away land and I looked forward to hearing the next adventure. The narration was excellent as well. I learned much from this book and have just ordered her next book as well in hopes of more of the same.

I could listen to her narration all day. Of course the topic is highly interesting as well, but I believe she can bring a book to life like no other.
