Death walks alongside me. But the reaper is no match for me. I'm trapped in a world full of monsters dressed as men, and those who aren't as they seem. They won't keep me forever. I no longer recognize the person I've become. And I'm fighting to find my way back to the beast who hunts me in the night. They call me a diamond. But they've only created an angel of death.

Revisado: 10-19-24
This was an incredible if a little effed up story. Fantastic narration by both narrators. I always like Teddy Hamilton but this was arguably his best performance ever. If someone else had narrated Z the character could have come off on the hell no side of messed up but Teddy makes him. Oh and also well written.

My life has always been a series of carefully constructed roads. Always the passenger, never the driver. Except with Dante. He makes me feel like a princess, a goddess, a queen.... His queen. We met in the clouds. We bared our souls in the clouds. We fell in love in the clouds. But is our love deep enough to survive the return to earth?

A new favorite!
Revisado: 10-06-24
This series was hot and sweet and romantic. The romantic parts of books are often an eye roll for me but this one had me dreaming for more. When it was over I felt like my lifelong best friend had moved overseas. It’s the kind of book that you have to just sit with for a while when it’s over. I will be reading more T. K. Leigh books soon. Enjoy!

Historia
Eight months ago, I was a naive, small-town farm girl nursing a shattered heart. Then hotel billionaire Henry Wolf picked me up off the ground (literally), and my entire life changed. Now, I live in a luxurious Manhattan penthouse, and I'm starting my first company while planning a beautiful wedding to the man of my dreams. I knew these first months would bring plenty of drama. I expected the savage media attention surrounding our engagement, and I braced myself for Mama's theatrics about the wedding.

Loved this series
Revisado: 08-13-24
One of my favorite series especially among spicy books. It was real, and human. I found myself smiling and laughing while listening throughout. It was extremely hot but not gratuitous. So well written around the emotions going on during the new experiences she found herself in.
My only con was the change in narrator for book 5. The way she read the words changed Abby‘s personality a bit. It wasn’t so much that she was awful, It was that she had such a different take on the character. She almost made Abby sound whiny where she had seemed naive but strong in books 1-4. Even with that downside, it was still one of my favorite series in a long time.

Great stories some narration is painful
Revisado: 07-12-24
Great story books 1-3 are stellar books 4-6 are less developed and seeming written quickly. The writing is still good but not as good. Some of the narration is whiny and painful. I’m not sad I listened to it all and I’d do it again but wow parts of it was hard to listen to. Oh and the changed the way they pronounced the main character’s name from on set to the next. That was really strange and seems like an organizational miss that should have been caught.

Historia
Lt. Grayson Masters is focused on graduating from the Apache helicopter course, and the last thing he needs is his gorgeous new roommate Samantha Fitzgerald distracting him. While her smart mouth and free spirit are irresistibly irritating, he can't deny their off-the-charts chemistry. Having just been expelled from college, Sam has no business digging for Grayson's secrets while she's hiding her own, but that doesn't stop her from trying to tear down his walls. Each barrier she busts through drops one of her own, though, and she's not prepared for the truth....

Love the series
Revisado: 11-28-23
Great series and I love the author but the female narrator was really tough to listen to. She sounded too old for the character and strangely over dramatic and breathy. The way she accentuated her words was really weird too. And you could hear her dry swallowing. When people don’t like a narrator even if I get what they mean I usually forget about it in a few minutes. I never got over it. It’s like she had heard southerners talk slow so she slowed the spaces between the words instead of the entire cadence. …otherwise great story.

Great series but this book is filler
Revisado: 11-12-23
Great book and looking forward to the next one but it feels like we only received 1/2 a book of plot advancement in book 3. Worst part was the last 3/4 hours where it was nothing but sex and relationship talk over and over. The sex was well written but over and over until I started skipping forward…a lot.

Why would you do this??
Revisado: 08-17-23
When you have a great story and the best narrator in the business in Tim G Reynolds why would you gum it up with broadway sounding over acting. Maybe all the authors success got boring for him so he thought he’d try to win by tying one arm behind his back. It definitely seems like sabotaging a great thing.

Historia
I wish more of the nudges that shaped history were the gentle kind—the signing of a treaty, the commitment to protect the weak, the spreading of a story that would enlighten minds. Alas, humans are more prone to stagnate than to change willingly, and so most nudges are given with force and terror and blood. Most nudges come at the slicing of a blade or the searing of a flame. The final chapters of Sable’s beginning certainly did. More blades than I hope to see again, and the fire…who could ever forget the fire?

Meh
Revisado: 07-02-21
I love the first three books. I think maybe this should have been book 3.5 a solstice tale and not the fourth book. It’s always hard to change the narrator, I don’t like the change. I’m sure there was a reason but it’s almost like there were completely different and less complex characters. I also think it’s easy to blame the narrator when this book just wasn’t written as well. It wasn’t about anything. A few days in the life…I am onto the next book still but I hope it is less a screenplay for a bad off brand teenybopper TV show and back to her original depth.
