Historia
God's Debris isn't a conventional book. It is written on three separate levels, by Scott Adams, better known as the creator of the Dilbert comic. What is less known about Adams is that he's a trained hypnotist. God's Debris is what happens when creativity and hypnosis intersect. On the surface, God's Debris is a simple fictional story of a delivery man who encounters an Avatar who knows literally everything.

A Masterpiece…
Revisado: 06-18-24
Don’t walk. RUN to pick this up and read it! Scott Adams has done it again. I am still in deep thought after reading this book… it has caused me to question what I thought were truths. I’ll definitely be reading this one again and at least once a year… Scott, what a masterpiece my friend. Thank you.

Where can you find joy? Gain strength? How should we face our fears? Deal with the death of a loved one? And what about those reoccurring depressing thoughts? While traditional schooling doesn’t address such questions, it’s exactly what ancient schools of philosophy were all about: They taught you how to live. Even though these schools don’t exist anymore, you and I and most people are in as much need of a philosophy that guides us through life as we ever were. This compelling, highly actionable guide shows you how to deal more effectively with whatever life throws at you.

A new vision
Revisado: 02-17-24
This book was recommended to me by my mentor. I’m glad I took the time to read and listen to it. This is the beginning of a be journey I will embark on… The journey of stoicism. Many parts of the book were like a mirror… I certainly haven’t been practicing Arête. There are many of the principles I need to be mindful of and place in to practice everyday from now on, especially now that I am a parent. One of the rare books that have changed my life and given me a new vision for the rest of my life… I appreciate this book so much.

There's a myth in our culture that to get ahead in sales, we have to be sharks - greedy, manipulative, and only out for number one. As business owners and creatives who lead with heart, that fear of appearing "salesy" stresses us out and holds us back. We assume that spending money is painful and feel guilty to ask our clients for more. The truth is, today's trading-up clients are not only willing to spend big, but they secretly want to. And there are more of them in your market than you think.

The Empathy Advantage
Revisado: 01-14-24
Not only did the author dispel the myths of the art of sales, she also helped me understand that I don’t have to undersell myself just to be in business. I love the techniques and example scripts provided illustrating how to use empathy as an advantage. My day job requires me to be empathetic every hour of the day. With a shift in mindset and practice, I am sure I can be successful in reaching my goals. I also see how a lot of selling is utilizing psychology. Very interesting… either way, thank you to the author. This was a very valuable read that I intend to return to…. Underrated gems!
