As a cycling addict I've been listening to a lot of books on the topic and to be honest a good percentage of them have been on the somber side. That said, both of Carlton Kirby's books have been delightful to listen to! So amusing and I love his rapport with his sidekick Sean Kelly. Nicely delivered as well by the author. Since I'm in the US and don't watch TV I'd never heard of him before now. Let's have another book please!

Loved this audio book!

Yup he's not a professional narrator, he sighs a lot and sounds tired, maybe even a bit bored at times. But I really enjoyed the delivery. It felt like he was having a long chat about events in his life. There were quite a few humorous parts in the book, especially his younger years getting started, having his parents drive him to cycling events, hanging out at the Italian bike shop. Clearly he felt it was important to tell his story and I'm glad he did, I really enjoyed it. Thanks Jonathan!

I’ve listened to this a dozen times. Very informative and enjoyable. Love that they bring their daughters into the narrative as well.
