I was hoping it would be a book about normal people and their insecurities, which it kind of was. It was crude and repetitive. I have never been around so many adults that make fun of another adults looks before. At least not out loud for everyone to hear. It was weird 😕 The book seems like it was written by someone young that hasn't had too many life experiences outside of high school. The storyline was ok but a bit drawn out and I feel like more just background noise.

This is not my favorite genre I'm not even sure what drew me to listen to the first one but I was sucked in almost immediately and listened to all 3 in a day and a half. Soooo Cute 😍

I really like this series!

I just finished listening to book 2. I am now obsessed and will be working on the rest of the series. It reminds me of Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Blake series when they were still good. They also kind of have a JD Rob in Death Series Vibe. They definitely have my attention. I will be checking out any other books this Author has outside this series. she has a new Fan.

I wanted to love this series

I really wanted to to love the series and I did love parts of it. The world the Author created is creative and I love most of the story line. I love they have a strong instantaneous attraction for their mate and expect some problems to arise. I wanted more back and forth banter. Give me a good argument. No instead the alpha just walks away dumping her with someone else to deel with her giving her the silent treatment..... Hell NO! Too many things in this series scream emotion manipulation. If you have been In a bad relationship its ridiculous the amount of red flags you can count. I just kept yelling in my head at the heroin, what is wrong with you. Why would you let anyone treat you or talk to you like that.

I tried to like it

I tried to like this series. I've read the first five books or technically listened to them. I didn't really like any of the narrators and thought that was the problem at first but even with a terrible narration I can sink into the story if it's good. I wouldn't call them bad but I just couldn't get into it. I feel like they just repeat too much of the same thing over and over. it starts to feel like they replete that carpathian's need to protect their mate every other line. We get it their mates are perfect and beautiful and made for them. I don't need every word of the book to remind me. it's sad because I like the idea of the stories. i like the characters. I find carpathian's as a different race fascinating. with this story I find it hard to believe that Gregory didn't come to help after he found out his brother and sister were alive especially now that he has a life mate and has his emotions back. If you like this type of story and are having a hard time getting into this one try the immortal Gardian series by Dianne Duvall.

love this series.

I just found this series when Amazon recommended it to me on kindle. I had some credits on my audible account so I downloaded the first one. I have now consumed the whole series of books that are out in less than a week. usually I only listen in the car but I couldn't stop listening.the stories are amazing and Kirsten Potter is an amazing narrator.
