These were fun, but book 5 kind of jumped the shark. Jason got way OP. If he deemed your commode an enemy he could make it bleed, curse and decay.

Harmony Wars series was great, action packed and characters you can possibly relate to. In The Tenth Awakens, Mark goes from a phenomenal warrior and mortal to the smartest, strongest human in the universe. Yes you read that right, Mark becomes the most powerful and intelligent human being in the universe..until others join him in this change. I couldn't get into it when the main character could instantly overcome any obstacle in a split second, unrelatable so therefore hard to invest into.
I did like how Chatfield began answering questions left over from the end of HWar. As per his usual, the action was really well written too.

I enjoyed this one and the series..but it really did leave some large loose ends. I know there is another series coming out with one of the main characters. I am hoping in that book we learn about the things the previous reviewer brought up. I really hope so, definitely a fun, action series.

Appreciated the nods to the Marine Corps.
The story was bland, there was major potential for the main and secondary characters to have real connections between all the moments of training. Those character building moments were given absolute minimum of attention and hurt the story in my opinion. It felt like Rod Serling narrated the authors outline of a story, the end specifically jumped around.
