Historia
Isolated from family and friends because of the one man she thought would be her happily ever after, Scotland is depressed, broke, and a shell of the woman she used to be. But when her man does the unthinkable, it is the last straw, causing Scotland to make a huge gamble in the name of revenge. But when that retaliation follows her home, adding yet another problem to her already hefty plate, Scotland must figure a way out of the hell she now calls life.

I love the books, but the storyline is the same. All the Crenshaw men are PERFECT—A new storyline where there are some surprises.

Historia
Amp Anthony is strong-willed, ruggedly handsome, and has a body that women will pay just to look at. He is also a recently freed felon. It's not easy to make things whole again under the rules of the halfway house to which he's been released, especially since his parole officer would like nothing more than to send him back to prison. Amp is bound and determined to make sure that will never happen. Like most felons, Amp has a hell of a time finding and keeping a job because of his record. When all else fails, he uses his body, letting women look for a price.

This was a good story. What brought it to life was the narrator. I was hoping his parents would re-enter his life. I am looking for more books with the same narrator!!!

Historia
True never guessed that life would be this hard. Being only 25 years old, she should have been being wild, reckless, and having fun, not fighting the hardest battle of her life, alongside a husband who no longer loved her. After their divorce, True wanted to be free and enjoy every day. Falling in love was not in the plan. She most definitely hadn't foreseen falling in love with an arrogant, womanizing hustler like Coop. Yet, she did. However, as soon as True tells him all her truth, he'll revert back to that unbearable goon that wreaked havoc on the streets of Chicago.

This is a Tear Jerker
Revisado: 01-28-20
This book was great. I normally only listen to audiobooks when I'm driving. I prefer books over the music of today. I couldn't turn this book off. This book literally brought me to tears. True's story is so close to home. I didn't lose my mom, but everything else was true. Jessica N Watkins in my new favorite audiobook author. I love me some Coop. I didn't in the beginning. I love Remy and I'm glad she gained her voice. Banks is shitty got what he deserved. I could have killed Jamil myself. Angel is the true epitome of a mom. This is the best audiobook I've ever listened to.

Aftermath: A Snapped Novel
Revisado: 08-01-13
What made the experience of listening to Aftermath the most enjoyable?
This story was good. Misa did exactly what I would have done had someone violated my son. I want Camille to get over Frankie. I just purchased Snapped which I think I read out of order. This entire series has been great. I've only listened to Tracy Brown on audio and I love her books. Gillian needs to get a life. You can't take someone's husband and think it will work out for you.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I liked Toya, Dominique, and the Misa's lawyer. Misa's lawyer was a bad chic. Toya had a hard life but fell in love with the most unlikely person. Dominique sounded like me a bit.
Which scene was your favorite?
All the courtroom scenes were the best. I liked when the lawyer broke Misa's ex-husband down.
Who was the most memorable character of Aftermath and why?
Shane with his little self. Any little boy being victimized and being ok is memorable to me.
Any additional comments?
This is a great listen. If you haven't tried one of Tracy Brown books try them out. Love them.

White Lines II: Sunny
Revisado: 07-26-13
Would you listen to White Lines II: Sunny again? Why?
No, I only read or listen to a book once.
If you’ve listened to books by Tracy Brown before, how does this one compare?
This wasn't nearly as good as the original White Lines. It didn't have the detail and it left a lot of unanswered questions.
What about Allyson Johnson’s performance did you like?
I love her narration.
If you could take any character from White Lines II: Sunny out to dinner, who would it be and why?
Jada - she has had it so hard. She just needs a friend to listen to her

White Lines: The White Lines Novels, Book 1
Revisado: 07-24-13
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend this book to a friend. The story was captivating. I couldn't do anything without turning on the book. Good read and great lessons learned.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Jada was my favorite character. She had to fight inner demons to end up on top. So much happened to her at a early age and I can identify with her. Not the drug addiction but everything else.
Would you listen to another book narrated by Allyson Johnson?
Yes, I liked how she changed her voice depending on who the character was. Her voice wasn't annoying like some narrators. Allyson Johnson gets a thumbs up.
If you could rename White Lines, what would you call it?
