Way Ahead Of All Writers in That Era

What can I say. She was a writer that had visions where a writer would probably dare go in the year "Orlando" was written. She had a style of her own. A style that seem to catch on as time went by. As more writings, essays and stories came to press the more she became excepted as a top writer not only in Britian but also other areas such the US. She was most certain a women's right's supportor. At the same time she loved all her family including her husband Leonard. She also was very close with her sister and brother.
As for the story "Orlando" it kept my interest right up til the very end. It is a love story with twist and turns and surprises. Iam sure you will find in very intersting and mysitical as I did. I have read a many of Mrs. Woolf stories and essays. "Orlando" I would rate high on HER charts for story line and writing expertise. Give it a sample listen it may get your curiosity.

ONE OF HER BEST

Beautifully put together words to form a great novel. I just could picture the background scenes and the people as I was standing there with them. I can only say that one of her other novels "Orlando" can match it in my judgement.
I would add one other thought in case someone has not read anything by her. Mrs. Woolf's style of writing, was liberal, and kinda risky during her years of living. She kept that style thru her career.

Drowning Ruth

Never thought I would enjoy this book from the write up. It really seemed like a "womens book" ladies don't take this the wrong way but it is a type of book that would appeal to women.
Maybe that statement wasn't fair. I REALLY enjoyed the book regardless of my statement.
I have even bought a copy of the hardback and many friends have borrowed it and enjoyed it as much as I did. I will say it is a little depressing and heavy on the heart as the story progresses . I recommend it to adults only because of the sensitive issues.
Thanks audible for making this available to listeners.

Just could'nt get into the story at all. All my friends that read novels said you gotta read this one. Well I listened and listened for a good while, and I just could not follow Mr. Brown's book. Glad I didn't waste more time reading it.
Sorry Mr. Brown, I was one of the few that did not show a thumbs up.

One of The Best Yet !

Like all of Kellerman's books this one goes a little past very good rating. I recommend this one even if you do not normally read the Kellerman's mysteries. This one is a page plus turner. Don't just judge it by the sample. It takes a little time and then it hooks you.
