Historia
He was the first person to inspire her, to move her, to truly understand her. Was he meant to be the last? Lucy is faced with a life-altering choice. But before she can make her decision, she must start her story - their story - at the very beginning. Lucy and Gabe meet as seniors at Columbia University on a day that changes both of their lives forever. Together, they decide they want their lives to mean something, to matter. When they meet again a year later, it seems fated - perhaps they'll find life's meaning in each other.

Love
Revisado: 09-13-18
This is the story of love lost and found again. And a story of different kinds of love. A passionate crazy in love kind and a steady love for a good man. It is a good read.

This is a wonderful story! I learned so much about Cuba: it’s people, it’s customs, it’s landscape, it’s regimes!
The book was beautifully narrated by Kyla and Frankie. I did not want it to end!

Historia
When newlywed Ruby Henderson Benoit arrives in Paris in 1939 with her French husband, Marcel, she imagines strolling arm in arm along the grand boulevards, awash in the golden afternoon light. Rue Amelie

A wonderful story. It held my interest from beginning to end. The characters were richly developed to make one feel as if they knew them
It is a World War II story unlike any other that I have read. I would recommend it anyone looking for a very good read.

Historia
The discovery of a dead infant in an Amish barn shakes Lancaster County to its core. But the police investigation leads to a more shocking disclosure: Circumstantial evidence suggests that 18-year-old Katie Fisher, an unmarried Amish woman believed to be the newborn's mother, took the child's life. When Ellie Hathaway, a disillusioned big-city attorney, comes to Paradise, Pennsylvania, to defend Katie, two cultures collide - and for the first time in her high-profile career, Ellie faces a system of justice very different from her own.

The plain truth
Revisado: 01-03-18
I enjoyed this book very much. For me it was a glimpse into the Amish world. Something I knew little about. Jodi Picoult has again given me a read that I thoroughly enjoyed.
