Historia
Woodward, the number-one international bestselling author of Fear: Trump in the White House, has uncovered the precise moment the president was warned that the Covid-19 epidemic would be the biggest national security threat to his presidency. In dramatic detail, Woodward takes readers into the Oval Office as Trump’s head pops up when he is told in January 2020 that the pandemic could reach the scale of the 1918 Spanish Flu that killed 675,000 Americans.

Relevant, necessary reading for Americans
Revisado: 11-08-20
The accounts in this book, which unfinished listening to the day after Joe Biden’s presidency was clinched in Pennsylvania, will remain important in the months and years after Trump leaves office. These were Trump’s words and what he knew, recklessly spilled out to Woodward to share with us.

Historia
In the span of four months in 2012, Tig Notaro was hospitalized for a debilitating intestinal disease called C. diff, her mother unexpectedly died, she went through a breakup, and then she was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer. Hit with this devastating barrage, Tig took her grief onstage. Days after receiving her cancer diagnosis, she broke new comedic ground, opening an unvarnished set with the words, "Good evening. Hello. I have cancer. How are you? Hi, how are you? Is everybody having a good time? I have cancer."

Better as an audio book.
Revisado: 01-08-18
I had been a fan of Tig Notaro's comedy and career before, and was as casually familiar with her story as, I'm sure, many of her fans are. Listening to this audio book, however, demonstrated not only what she has been through, but what she has learned. How great it was to hear it in her own voice.
