Incredible review of behavioral biases
Revisado: 10-17-23
The book fantastically and succinctly summarizes all behavioral biases that torpedo your finances, as well as ways to identify and mitigate them. The only downside was the encouragement of active management. When evidence overwhelmingly suggests passive investing, is the best way to go for investors. Excellent job and excellent book to help you conquer your behavioral biases when it comes to money.

The guru to the gurus at last shares his knowledge with the rest of us. Nobel laureate Daniel Kahneman's seminal studies in behavioral psychology, behavioral economics, and happiness studies have influenced numerous other authors, including Steven Pinker and Malcolm Gladwell. In Thinking, Fast and Slow, Kahneman at last offers his own, first book for the general public. It is a lucid and enlightening summary of his life's work. It will change the way you think about thinking. Two systems drive the way we think and make choices, Kahneman explains....

Profundity
Revisado: 01-18-23
This should be absolutely required reading for anybody that wants to invest before making mistakes and wondering why they keep making them. However, it is also applicable to non-financial aspects of decision-making and highly insightful. This book will seriously change how you perceive your decisions and explain why you make them, and why they are not always entirely rational, but have had reasons to provide evolutionary advantage for survival.

Great content, poor reader
Revisado: 11-25-19
Unfortunately the reader of this book was very poor and would put anybody to sleep. However the content of the book is fantastic. Unfortunately I think the great content is lost in the readers sleepy type tone as well as it seemed at times he himself was falling asleep and also was struggling to read even the words. I would not recommend this book given the reader and would probably choose a different audio version with a better reader.

The Bible for physician finance
Revisado: 04-24-19
This book has changed my life from a financial perspective, and after reading has already in a few short months saved me thousands of dollars from dumping my whole life insurance and financial adviser to investing wisely in my retirement and brokerage accounts. A must read for docs and should be part of medical school and residency training!
