this book is a much more... serious addition to the story. we got none of the trademark donut recklessness that causes carl say dammit donut. we got less relateable humor. i still like the book, but it's much... heavier. it may have been just me, but the humor that was there didn't lighten enough to keep the story fun as the previous additions.
not a single dammit donut ridiculousness scene saddens me.

Historia
As management reels from the unexpected conclusion of the seventh level, the surviving crawlers stumble onto the eighth and find themselves scattered. It’s a map based on Earth’s final days before the collapse, where ethereal, intangible ghosts of humanity go about their lives, oblivious of the impending doom. Living amongst these ghosts are monsters based in Earth lore. “Legendary” creatures tied to the geographical location they inhabit. Each team of crawlers is given a task: Find and capture six of these beasts.

Historia
House Gracefall wasn’t anything like what Derek had imagined it would be. Instead of rage and anger at the loss of one of their young masters, House Gracefall showed humility and even apologized. Despite one noble house exemplifying honor and nobility, another awaited to reinforce the negative stereotypes that Derek had been anticipating all along. Somehow, out of all that, Derek made a new friend, a new business partner, and learned some secrets, while Silvi got her first taste of the real world of cooking and loved it.

mostly good, but a pretty low movement arc.
Revisado: 08-11-23
i like the story so far, but would have preferred if the cliff wasn't so annoying to stare at. aside from that... there's a typo on the final stats, it was made clear that he's 171 so he can't enter that one dungeon anymore, but reads off level 165 in the ending stats.

Historia
The eastern front is a place where soldiers never sleep and artillery guns howl without rest. This quagmire is where the Salamander Kampfgruppe has been hurled once again, just another cog in the grand war machine of their fatherland. Still, there's only so much one unit can do. As the fighting ramps up with renewed enemy attacks and a brand-new weapon that pitches the Federation's quantity against the Empire's quality, Tanya faces one of her toughest battles yet, making a certain visitor's arrival a sight for sore eyes.

more of our favorite psychopath
Revisado: 05-22-23
tanya is one of the best written high functioning psychopaths to listen to. a goal oriented person, with no moral qualms about warping interpretations of the law while staying within the letter of how it's written. gives no shits about others unless they have value to her. honestly tanya is a terrible person, but a great character to follow in a story because she's interesting. the story shows much of human weakness in different ways, and sheds light on the darkness humans are capable of.

Revisado: 05-22-23
a slow paced isekai slice of life that draws readers in, with references to some of the great works on power dynamics such as the prince, and the art of war. it's got a slow roll harem romance in the works, but i expect in line with most light novel romances it won't be explicit in the details in further books when the relationships advance. the cool headed analytical mc does this story well, as it lets him use the knoledge from the advanced civilization of earth well in his new home. i'm waiting for the next release, and hope the quality doesn't change.

An alien game show. A deadly challenge. The fate of the world is on Astra's shoulders when a mysterious black orb appears with a challenge for Earth and selects her to compete in its strange - and very public - game. The rules are bewildering, and there are no second chances for losers. Yet, while Astra fights to stay alive and save the world from imminent destruction, the people of Earth are more interested in tabloids and gossip, like whether or not she's engaging in a scandalous love affair with a fellow contestant.

Hunger games, with aliens
Revisado: 05-16-23
I liked the way this book went for the most part, not exactly what i was expecting though. Kinda hunger games like. A love triangle, death games, ect. Didn't really like some of the mc's decisions, but to a point they were understandable. Would like to see a sequel.

Not a fan of the series
Revisado: 05-16-23
This author has some good, and some bad books. This one is solidly middle of the road for him. It doesn't build any emotional connections with what happens to the characters. The story is kinda slice of life, with light action. There's a poorly realized subplot romance. Overall, i won't be recommending it, or discouraging reading, as it's not bad, but it's not really good either. Just feels uninspired.

Taboo erotica litrpg
Revisado: 05-09-23
So, we have a mixed genre book of a litrpg, with a taboo focused erotica. The story is about a 60/40 split on those two focuses. The litrpg portion is pretty entertaining, and the erotica... don't listen in polite company. You get incest, beastiality, exhibitionism, all for our harem summoning protaginst. I personally liked the book, but probably would keep it on the private bookshelf that doesn't get shared openly. There are a few editorial problems with the narration, like a false start on a sentence, and a couple misspoken words that weren't caught. But overall the story is pretty good.

Pizza, coffee, and a library full of unplayed games. That's the plan, or at least it was supposed to be. Instead, an average gamer finds himself seemingly transported into the world of his favorite game. While some might appreciate that, it's quickly apparent that he isn't in some sort of virtual reality experiment, all of his downloaded mods are active, and the world is likely set to its highest difficulty with permadeath enabled.

Heartwarming slice of life
Revisado: 05-09-23
I like how this book went. It's a fairly light-hearted litrpg, a mix between minecraft and a dating sim. Some fanservice, but it's not too overdone, with only two explicit scenes. It's a very character driven story, with the interactions between the characters being of more focus. I would reccomend that discretion of audience is advised, as it's not going to be a fast-paced action story, but much more slice of life.

i got 50$ bet on the angel he killed being auri
Revisado: 02-18-23
i have no foreknoledge, but there are references of him killing an angel, it's just my guess, because of the difference between how he sees denna and auri. auri is not his love, but he does love her, like a mother, or a sister. and it's a choice that makes sense, but isn't the obvious choice for a tragic event.
