I finally just stopped listening and went to find another book. The narrator is good but is not a voice I enjoy listening to.

enjoyed to read however a lot of authors beliefs, prejudice coming through. the reference to trailer trash and deep southern drawl being less desirable. the whole "family value" phrase has negative connotations in some circle as they have turned it into a prejudiced phrase if it does not fit the typical mold. just wanted to say

I like the authors writing. it is just difficult to swallow the way they work through the problems with the marquis' nightterrors/ptsd....

I need a vacation after that book. what a great storyteller. I confess I skipped some parts that were too much to bear but grinned through many parts.

this story was eye roll worthy. I used the fast fwd a number of times because I have to finish a book but I was so frustrated with the schizophrenic characters, the stupid moves of the main character.. the definition of violence not including assault on silver at the cheetah gathering.... and others. that said I like this writer and her books, but this one has some issues for me...

The narrator's voice with the complaining and anger at the start of the book put me off and i stopped listening. i fast forwarded to where she gets a grip and continued. The story line was good and the voice for Ian was good. I am glad i came back and finished the book.

intriguing characters

the performance lacked coordination between what was said and the intonation. the dialogue was predictable and trite. I really like the dog and main character, i just wish the meat could have demonstrated more maturity.

the lead female sounds like a 10yo, not a professional...yuck. i could not tell if i sent this book back because of the poor narration or the storyline but back it went

delightful

I love this author's sense of humor. The adventure and story lines are not predictable, like some of others of the same genre, making it a very engaging read
