To be honest, after the first hour of this book I thought it was a version of Fifty Shades of Grey. I had to check who the author was or if it mentioned that book. With that being said, I wasn’t a fan of that either. The woman is immature and irrationally attached to an a-hole. What’s worse is it happens the first time they meet! Who tf insinuates like that as head of any company? At least know each other a little bit beforehand! Sexual harassment, anyone? As for the woman, at first I felt she may be independent but was quickly disappointed at how needy she was for the man. No I don’t even remember their names. It was that bad. I found the story grating on my nerves and couldn’t finish. The narrator did well, the story did not. Definitely not worth the read.

Struggling to finish

Although I’m very interested in dealing into this story, the narrator is killing me. I can’t stand her voice. It’s way too high pitched and rich-white-girl-ish for any kind of narration. I’ve had to rewind multiple times because she’s making me lose interest. If I manage to finish I’ll update this review with how the story itself is.

Strong idea, short story.

I truly enjoyed the softer side of this omega story vs the typical hard sex/rape style most omegaverse stories have. The big downside of this story was the length and extremely fast pace of the romance. It appears the author just shot the story out to make a deadline instead of taking the time to develop a plot. It could have been so much more.
