At last a fresh look at pitching
Revisado: 02-24-15
Oren bowled me over with the simplicity behind his interpretation of neuro economics and how to apply it in real world scenarios. It was completely refreshing, and for someone who has to generate business for a living, I was greatly relieved that Oren focused on the quality of your results rather than a hammer and tongs approach to sales success I.E. It's all about the numbers. Forget that! He offered a novel & straightforward system which I for one am keen to road test.

Historia
From 1999 to 2009, U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle recorded the most career sniper kills in United States military history. The Pentagon has officially confirmed more than 150 of Kyles kills (the previous American record was 109), but it has declined to verify the astonishing total number for this book. Iraqi insurgents feared Kyle so much they named him al-Shaitan ("the devil") and placed a bounty on his head.

An invaluable insight into US 'Patriotism'
Revisado: 01-20-15
At times confronting, at times highly righteous, Chris Kyle presents a 'boots an all' insight into his ideals; definition of patriotism, defending the nation, and love for his professional, and what it means to be a loving husband and father.
There are moments of moralistic high ground de-humanising 'the enemy' I can't take that away from man who obviously did a lot of the 'clean up' work and had to somehow justify it to his conscience. Any person would be tested, and at the end he reveals the true beauty of being human - by giving back.

Historia
Australian General Sir John Monash changed the way wars were fought and won. When the British and German High Commands of the First World War failed to gain ascendancy after four years of unprecedented human slaughter, Monash used innovative techniques and modern technology to plan and win a succession of major battles that led to the end of the Great War.But Australia's greatest military commander fought as many battles with those on his side as he did with his enemies.

What an amazing Australian!
Revisado: 01-10-15
This audiobook went beyond what I thought was going to a book on the 'war general' and delved into the passions and interests of Monash prior, during & after the war. I got to experience the 'human' side to what has been, in so many history books, a rather two dimensional figure.
I found the ongoing machinations of Hughes, Murdoch & C.E.W. Bean elucidating - finally putting paid to why Monash was not heralded as a hero general by the latter in his works. If you want an example of How sheer brilliance, force of character & integrity can win out despite the odds, then I highly recommend this audiobook.
