Historia
What is the boy crisis? It's a crisis of education. For the first time in American history, our sons will have less education than their dads. It's a crisis of mental health. As boys become young men, their suicide rates go from equal to girls to six times that of young women. It's a crisis of sexuality. Sex is a minefield for our sons. They're bombarded with mixed messages, afraid of being either too sensitive or not sensitive enough.

In Worthy, Smith strips herself of all the labels and stories crafted by others, and reclaims her narrative with radical self-love. Worthy teaches us who Jada is, and how to embrace our most authentic loveable souls.

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother's coffin as the world watched in sorrow - and horror. As Diana, Princess of Wales, was laid to rest, billions wondered what the princes must be thinking and feeling - and how their lives would play out from that point on. For Harry, this is that story at last.

Lots of hidden gems of wisdom in this book
Revisado: 02-07-23
From the narration to the storyline, the book was well done. Had to pause a lot and deeply think of some of the lessons in this book that are relevant to me. Be it parenting, dealing with loss, etc, the book was very insightful. I am looking forward to the next book.

Really enjoyed the book, until the time the company was de listing. I think there was just too much jargon. Otherwise great book, and learnings. Seems like Michael is a good chap. 👍🏿

But now, for the very first time, Siya Kolisi shares his story in an extraordinarily intimate memoir, charting his journey from being born into the impoverished Zwide township, to leading his proud nation to an astonishing victory at the Rugby World Cup in 2019.

Historia
Why are some people and organizations more innovative, more influential, and more profitable than others? Why do some command greater loyalty from customers and employees alike? Even among the successful, why are so few able to repeat their successes over and over? People like Martin Luther King, Jr.; Steve Jobs; and the Wright Brothers might have little in common, but they all started with why. Their natural ability to start with why enabled them to inspire those around them and to achieve remarkable things.

Critical concept
Revisado: 01-19-22
All things ought to have a reason why we doing them. Great concept to internalize and use.
The structure of the book wasn't great. Felt repetitive and monotonous at some stage.

Through wide-ranging, and often deeply personal conversation, Oprah Winfrey and Dr. Perry explore how what happens to us in early childhood–both good and bad–influences the people we become. They challenge us to shift from focusing on, “What’s wrong with you?” or “Why are you behaving that way?,” to asking, “What happened to you?”

Insightful lessons

Enjoyed the book, besides the fact that the app kept on hanging. I would recommend having a print copy as opposed to listening. As there are some breathing and other exercises you'd want to go back to when sitting.
