Great characters!

About a decade ago I read all of this authors books. She’s fantastic at ROM Com stories and real connections that have me laughing out loud. I’m so happy to find she has some new books! This was a a different setting but still corky, believable, and honest to how we experience life/relationships. Reading this book was like coming home to an old friend. I really enjoy her style of writing, it’s a great read!

Gave it a few chapters and so glad I did.

I was genuinely confused with this book at first. Following the timelines was not that enjoyable before I figured out what was going on. Glad I stuck with it. The themes and refreshing twist on an epic second chance was worth it.

I love a good story that has so many authentic characters and believable relationships that I just get lost in the story. It was so good. This is my first book to read of this author but I now look forward to reading more of her work.

I’ve read almost every book Ryan has written. I skipped Jared and Banner to get to Lotus’s story. It was such a fantastic journey of selfless love and overcoming huge and sometimes inter surmountable obstacles to be together. I loved this work. I know I’ll read it again down the road, it was that good. I wish it didn’t have to end, I’d watch this movie on opening day no doubt!

I loved this book from the first sentence. It was so raw and authentic. The author did such a great job of making this book almost unimaginable, but because she has such skill in character development, it made me feel like I knew them or wanted to at least have a coffee with these two. Read this book, seriously if you love a story that defies odds and comes together in a predictable but also unorthodox way, you’ll eat this book up like I did. Also the sex scene alone was so good, it was honest but crazy town erotic. You may not feel that way, but for a mother/school teacher, it was the perfect balance of sexy and believable.
