So incredibly boring

Narrators voice ruined it

I started with audible with Tom Lake but after being under stimulated with Meryl Streeps voice as well as the storyline I tried to just read on kindle but just couldn’t stick with it. It was confusing with reading about a story of a mom sharing her story with her daughters while the daughters interjected their thoughts and questions about their moms story. Difficult to listen to and to read. It’s a first DNF in years.
It’s a book club book and usually I push through for the group but this story and voice couldn’t bring me to keep going. I’ve never been so different in opinion compared to the majority reviews. I’m at a loss with Tom Lake!

Intriguing story with excellent narration

First time listening to Vince Flynn book. Wanted to listen before watching the movie. I loved how the narrator performed different characters especially Hurley. He made the character. I used whisper sync too but loved hearing Hurley too much. Would not have been the same experience if I just read the book. Considering getting the next Mitch Rapp book

Wonderful body awareness relaxation practice

I felt very relaxed and aware throughout the session without falling asleep. At times I felt her cues to each body part was a bit fast. A slower pace would be more user friendly; However, I think with time I would get used to it.

The author did a great job providing a thriller I couldn’t stop reading or listening to. The narrator did a wonderful job with flection in her voice to add to the suspense. Highly recommend. Did not feel the main character was whiny like others said.

If you have done lots of research you probably won't hear anything new. However if you are looking to connect to another's story with fibromyalgia just for 20mins it is worth the few dollars to listen. I also recommend Toni Bernard She has 3 books of mix of research and personal experience. How to live well was my fav.
