Another great addition to this new series! My only real complaint is how short it is, and, well, it's not like I can knock off points for that, I'm just needy.

Oh, and, no spoilers, but you're a true villain for that ending, RD.

Another amazing book by Selkie, and not to mention the amazing performance by Andrea!

Something that really stood out to me, is how the common issue of time skips are dealt with in this series. I love how, due to the many immortals (or nigh-immortals), as well as the well-defined premise of such people living slower, more methodical lives, make not too much change throughout the years of the book.
Not only does this serve to advance the plot in a realistic time frame, but it gets the characters that are less important to the plot out of the way.

A good part that subtly shows this in Elaine's POV is when she meets Nyx for the second time, saying that it only felt like he was a kid "3 days ago."
This serves to give a good insight into the mind of the immortals of this book, and how Elaine has become one of such in mind as well.

Overall, another amazing book in the series! Wish it was longer, but hey, that could be said for them all.

First off, that ending cliffhanger was evil... again. It'd be impossible to point out everything I love about this volume, so here's a few things I've noticed. I love how the author never spends too much time on one thing, and even when they do, it's something they clearly spent tons of time on and really put their heart into. Some books can often feel tedious because of this, but here there's almost never a dull moment.

Love the Growing family with Papa Affenoreth, Mama Sorrow, Grandma, etc.

Could never praise or recommend this book enough! Can't wait for that next volume!

Love the series still, just a little bit of criticism.

While I loved the story as a whole both in the first and second books, this book has a bit of an issue. While it was great, it was super slow at times, with a lot of scenes that felt like they could've been cut down to leave more room for other or more plot points. While, I can clearly tell that the author was being very hyper-descriptive and eloquently word-y on purpose, I just feel like it could've been toned down a but cuz at some points it went from interesting to kinda just droning on.

Overall, loved the book, and I can't wait for the next one!

While I'm not as into the actual series as most, I absolutely adored this book. I loved every moment Dana and Lily were together, and by the end, all I could think was that I wanted MORE.

Tldr:
This was amazing, please for the love of all that is unholy, make another book focused on the best ever zombie girl.
