This book will be added to my list of favorite books. If I mourn when I finish a book, that means it was a great one. Spoiler alert: the main character had a dog and he didn't get killed! I hate that almost every author seems to think that the dog has to die.

Too Much Sex

I prefer my books to have little to no sex...this was not that. I continued listening in order to hear what happened but was disappointed to find it hard to skip the sex scenes without missing certain info. And the sex scenes were pretty much all the same...dusgusting. Certain parts even made me want to puke. I want to gag just thinking about it. It was gross how sex seemed to be the only thing the character thought of, it was very repetitive and it got old. I would've normally quit listening but it was written in a way that I had to continue listening to hear the ending.

I couldn't finish this, the audio was too terrible to ignore. Everytime he'd raise his voice to emulate yelling or shouting it would crackle horribly.

I love Holly, she's my favorite. I feel I've never loved a character quite as much as I do Holly. It seems like I waited forever for Sept. 5th to arrive and now it's over. The Mr. Mercedes series are on my list of all-time favorites. I didn't realize how much I liked Stephen King until after that series. Also, I'll love anything with Holly Gibney starring in it.

This was an excellent read. I'm the type of person who doesn't show a lot of emotions. I never cry during movies or listening to books. But holy hell, this book made me tear up so many times that it was frustrating! I've never had a book do that before.

This kept my interest till the end. I like that it wasn't your typical horror story. The Troop is one of my favorite books, so I was excited for this to come out, tho it was a little too short. I just don't understand what the hell Cutter has against turtles? What did they ever do to him? Spoiler alert: This is the second time he's traumatized me with a long, tortuous turtle death.

I think my 15-year-old could write better than this. Apparently, they let anyone publish a book. I couldn't help but notice the phrase "to no avail" was overused. It annoyed me every time I heard it. I wouldn't even waste my time on this if it were free.

I had gotten this one a couple months ago. I tried to listen a couple times but if a book doesn't draw me in right away I lose interest and move on to something else. I finally decided to try again and I'm glad I did! I was sad it ended and I wish it was longer. A little slow to start but it's not disappointing if you hang in there.

This one had me hooked right away. It was very creepy in the way that the events that took place seemed very plausible and the thought of it actually happening is horrifying. Just a warning to the fellow animal lovers, a few parts were really hard to listen to.

I like the storyline of this book but the constant whining of the main character in combination with the horrible whiney tone the narrator uses makes it almost unbearable. I really tried to get through it.
