Historia
Between 1993 and 1998, eight women went missing from an area around Dublin that became known as the ‘Vanishing Triangle’. Was there a link? Speculation abounded. There were whispers of a serial killer, responsible for some, if not all, of these cases. But nobody was ever brought to justice. Twenty years later, the brutal murder of Jastine Valdez disturbs crime novelist Claire McGowan into action.

The lost
Revisado: 09-10-21
This is a story not unfamiliar the World over. We did not think it could happen again, but it has… Texas a state in the US has limited abortions to those that do not have a heart beat! This means before the woman knows she is pregnant! Pray for the women of Afghanistan as they bravely face the Taliban. My heart breaks that these stories are not unique. They should be and somewhere there should be a memorial to all the missing around the world. Thank you for bringing Ireland’s missing to life.

Slight but rather obvious missteps at times. However I really enjoy this author! It will not allow me to post unless I have fifteen words. What’s that about?

Licensed Chemical dependency Counselor
Revisado: 01-04-21
I was horrified by the author’s depiction of first alcoholism that was declared a disease in 1956! Right now this is a lot of bogus talk about separation of alcohol from the alcoholic will cure them! NOT SO! The alcoholic suffers from an allergy of the body that sets off a craving that the brain continues like the addict to crave more.
You are setting alcoholism back 80 years if you believe it isn’t a disease.
Even the great Carl Jung used to say they were a hopeless lot to be locked away in asylums!
AA has multiple millions of followers World wide. It isn’t the only way to get sober but it is one that has worked well for millions!
Do your research! Go down to a homeless shelter( most will not admit those that are drunk) and ask... can you quit? Sure.... I just can’t stay quit is the usual answer of EVERY addict!!! Including those with alcoholism! Do not give up on the young people either many many many are in the rooms of AA making it stronger than its ever been!
Look at the money.... who gets money when people are drunks? Now follow it and find out that some psych babble people wanting to put forth a “new” theory want to not call it a disease! Well.... they tried that ever sense man first stomped on grapes. Drunks are even spoken about in the Bible! Wouldn’t it be great if your wrong and I’m right and it really is a disease and can be successfully treated, so those people can become working contributing members of society again?????

Intriguing story
Revisado: 03-01-19
I was right there on the edge of my seat until....
Well I am a licensed chemical dependency counselor and an addict/alcoholic in long term recovery.... I was appalled at the ending!!! What?! The terminology once an alcoholic or addict always an addict or alcoholic was taken completely out of context. Yes it’s true that they cannot use or drink safely again but it Does Not mean that they are DESTINED to! There are people out here in the real world that have over forty years sobriety! Research Research Research before you write!!!! This was a really well performed book and was very interesting until that trashed ending. Now had you simply had her in recovery( needed to do some research on what recovery really entails) and had her suddenly find that she had her heart broken etc... and a relapse then okay. Geez
