Historia
A meteorite from cosmic space falls to earth on a backwoods Massachusetts farm. The space rock possesses peculiar qualities and mystifies even the brightest university scientists. But it soon becomes clear that this is no ordinary meteor, as its otherworldly influence unleashes a creeping wave of despair, death, and decay into the land and its inhabitants.

Tantalizing & Enthralling
Revisado: 01-27-20
This is a must listen to if you are thinking of seeing the new movie,"The Colour Out of Space." Over all the voice acting was on point and the execution of the story was very well done. this story in my opening is better than the film, but at the same time, the movie was a hell of a ride. A must see if you love H.P. Lovecraft. Though I implore you to take a listen or read the short story first.

Historically Insightful
Revisado: 01-26-20
I had to read this book for school and found it on Audible. I was delighted to be exposed to such a human story of personal history of struggle in the Americas. The Carabin need more exposure so people can feel their hardships. This was an unexpected amazing book of a powerful woman finding her heritage showing how convoluted history can be. I'd recommend this book to anyone looking for more insight through others experience.

Amazing!!!
Revisado: 01-05-20
I burned through this in just 3 days. I'd read, or listen to Fight Club before seeing the movie. I saw the movie first and the book is just as good if not better. So, if you have a choice deffantly do yourself a favor and read the book first.

This monumental book tells the enthralling story of one of the greatest accomplishments in our nation's history, the building of what was then the longest suspension bridge in the world. The Brooklyn Bridge rose out of the expansive era following the Civil War, when Americans believed all things were possible.
