What an amazing book! From the beginning to the end, it kept my interest and answered my many questions. I was hooked on the subject of healing the vagus nerve (which I knew nothing about!) in order to reduce stress and improve overall well-being. The thorough scientific information was relayed understandably for the lay person and I needed those facts to provide a basic foundation. The author’s link to her own experience made the reading more engaging and motivating. But, the most uplifting sections were Chapters 7 and 8 which detailed extensive practical exercises and methods for improving vagus nerve tone. The exercises were clearly explained and easy to follow. Not only did I begin a daily practice, but I noticed improvement immediately. I highly recommend reading or listening to “The Vagus Nerve, Your Body’s Superpower!”in order to reduce tension, relieve pain and inflammation or simply to cope with a busy, stressful life. 5 stars!
