Historia
This near-future trilogy is the first chance for English-speaking listeners to experience this multiple-award-winning phenomenon from Cixin Liu, China's most beloved science fiction author. In The Dark Forest, Earth is reeling from the revelation of a coming alien invasion - in just four centuries' time. The aliens' human collaborators may have been defeated, but the presence of the sophons, the subatomic particles that allow Trisolaris instant access to all human information, means that Earth's defense plans are totally exposed to the enemy.

The scientific reasoning and background blended into the story.

The scientific reasoning and background blended into the story. The narratator also did an excellent job with the telling of this complex story. Also his changes of voice for different characters was very good.

Intricate story, much detail, and characters
Revisado: 12-28-17
Great for detail and very likely awesomely constructed story. However, I'm an average reader, and this book with very lengthy detail requires much attention from the reader to follow all the places, events and related characters. About half way through I began to haze over and trying to keep track in my mind all that was happening.
However, I feel the narrator did an awesome job.

Historia
In what is considered one of Heinlein's most hair-raising, thought-provoking, and outrageous adventures, the master of modern science fiction tells the strange story of an even stranger world. It is 21st-century Luna, a harsh penal colony where a revolt is plotted between a bashful computer and a ragtag collection of maverick humans, a revolt that goes beautifully until the inevitable happens. But that's the problem with the inevitable: it always happens.

Historia
We fought the invading New Men to a standstill and defeated the alien destroyer sent to obliterate Earth. The worst should be over, but it's not. Perfect android replicas are impersonating high-level officials so trust is failing. Worse, the New Men have found allies with an impenetrable stealth technology. This time, however, Earth is going on the offensive. Admiral Fletcher is headed to C Quadrant with a Grand Fleet. He's to liberate the captured planets and find the enemy homeworld.

Great book and narration with voice changes.
Revisado: 11-05-15
Storyline is very believable even with today's technology and the narrator changed his voice and accents appropriately to each character. The only part that was a little hard to believe was the use of film and video tape (not digital) while they were on Mars but then, it was written back in 1992. I'm looking forward to listening to the next book in the series.
