Historia
Two Truths and a Lie. The girls played it all the time in their cabin at Camp Nightingale. Vivian, Natalie, Allison, and first-time camper Emma Davis, the youngest of the group. But the games ended the night Emma sleepily watched the others sneak out of the cabin into the darkness. The last she - or anyone - saw of them was Vivian closing the cabin door behind her, hushing Emma with a finger pressed to her lips. Now a rising star in the NYC art scene, Emma's paintings catch the attention of Francesca Harris-White, the socialite and wealthy owner of the very same Camp Nightingale.

A Good Listen!

I enjoyed the story and the narration. Sometimes I felt there was a little too much drama. Still I did not see the story end as it did. So nice twists.

Historia
Grange, Florida, is famous for its miracles - the weeping fiberglass Madonna, the Road-Stain Jesus, the stigmata man. And now it has JoLayne Lucks, unlikely winner of the state lottery. Unfortunately, JoLayne's winning ticket isn't the only one. The other belongs to Bodean Gazzer and his raunchy sidekick, Chub, who believe they're entitled to the whole $28 million jackpot. And they need it quickly, to start their own underground militia before NATO troops invade America. But JoLayne Lucks has her own plans for the Lotto money - an Eden-like forest in Grange must be saved from strip-malling.

Story is good but narrator challenging
Revisado: 07-19-22
This story tapped many of my interests. Because of this I completed the book. However I found the narrator to be distracting. Too much mouth noise for my tastes. I continued to ask myself to continue or not. Again, the story won out. And I may have missed details because of the distractions. Being sound sensitive is my problem.

Enjoyed the book. Have a question.
Revisado: 06-19-22
Patience answered most of my questions as possible with so many complicated situations. One question still lingers. To ask in this review could be a spoiler. So I will seek the answer from the author.

Historia
Twenty-five years ago, Maggie Holt and her parents, Ewan and Jess, moved into Baneberry Hall, a rambling Victorian estate in the Vermont woods. Three weeks later they fled in the dead of night, an ordeal Ewan later recounted in a nonfiction book called House of Horrors. His horror memoir of ghostly happenings and encounters with malevolent spirits became a worldwide phenomenon, rivaling The Amityville Horror in popularity — and skepticism.

Historia
Secrets and lies force their way to the surface in Nesly Clerge's newest novel of deception, crime, and buried history. Frederick Starks thought he'd already lost as much as one man could: A beautiful family, the luxurious life wealth provides, success, admiration - all stripped from him in one moment of madness that resulted in a 15-year sentence in a maximum security prison. Certain that life has gotten as bad as it can get, Starks contrives a way to rise to the top of the inmate hierarchy. But his assumption is wrong.
