A clever take on a serial killer story
Revisado: 07-25-24
Not one of the author’s best but a solid story nevertheless. I wasn’t in a rush to finish listening to it but I wasn’t bored either. The book definitely picks up as the story progresses.

Historia
Professor Theo Cray is trained to see patterns where others see chaos. So when mutilated bodies found deep in the Montana woods leave the cops searching blindly for clues, Theo sees something they missed. Something unnatural. Something only he can stop. As a computational biologist, Theo is more familiar with digital code and microbes than the dark arts of forensic sleuthing.

Revisado: 03-23-24
I’ve never grown tired of Koontz’s books and I think it’s because he’s a genius when it comes to building new plot lines. I can see this book turning into several sequels

When a series of devastating terror attacks brought down the United States, Conor and Barb assumed they were safe in their compound. They had everything they needed. They were armed and highly trained. But then, Barb was kidnapped. The kidnappers didn’t know why Conor was known as The Mad Mick. They didn’t know the fear and respect his name invoked in the shadowy underworld of covert operations. They didn’t know that when it came to protecting his family, he was without conscience, without compassion, and without equal. But they would soon find out.

My first foray into RPG literature was well rewarded
Revisado: 02-23-24
This is my first RPG book and I’ll have to say it was well worth my time. I love it when authors come up with unique content. And this book certainly contained a lot of fresh unique content. This is a great book for anyone that wants to be introduced to RPG literature. They won’t be disappointed.

Historia
In 1984, a doomsday vault was constructed on a remote island in the Arctic Ocean. Its purpose was to preserve Earth's genetic history in the event of a global catastrophe. Now, decades later, a second vault has been uncovered, this one resting where no one ever expected. And the problem is it's not ours. Yet even more curious than the vault itself is what lies inside. Seeds. Millions of seeds. Each with a genetic embryo untouched and perfectly preserved. Waiting.

Historia
Half a century ago, an aberration was spotted by one of our earliest satellites, and summarily dismissed as a hardware malfunction. But it was no aberration. And no malfunction. It was an accidental glimpse of something extraordinary, and very old. Mocked for decades, the man who designed the satellite is now dead. With the system's original data firmly in the hands of former NTSB investigator Joe Rickards and anthropologist Angela Reed.

I love when authors present new and surprising plots. This is such a book. Very entertaining
Revisado: 07-13-23
As most people know, it’s hard to come up with truly new and novel plots in the world of fiction. The author does a fantastic job at creating a very entertaining and engaging book. He mixes fact and fiction so artfully that it’s hard to tell them apart. This is what grabs the reader so effectively and draws them in as if they were right there with the characters.
