Historia
This classic of spycraft is based on Allen Dulles's incomparable experience as a diplomat, international lawyer, and America's premier intelligence officer. Dulles was a high-ranking officer of the CIA's predecessor - the Office of Strategic Services - and was present at the inception of the CIA, where he served eight of his 10 years there as director. Here he sums up what he learned about intelligence from nearly a half-century of experience in foreign affairs.

A Class Act
Revisado: 11-13-20
A class act by all. An exceptional read and cognitively written by one of the free world’s dynamic custodians of intel. Wonderfully read by Mr. Ganser. Thank you for this remarkable insight into the CIA.

Historia
It is April 1943, and Marine aviator Cletus Frade, Army demolition's wizard Anthony Pelosi, and communications expert David Ettinger are thrust again into the lethal nest of intrigue that is wartime Buenos Aires. A clandestine German vessel sets sail to resupply submarines in the South Atlantic...as a massive shipment of money earmarked for postwar Reich makes its way to South America...and a coup designed to topple the government reaches critical mass. In the midst of it all, the German-ordered assassination of Cletus Frade's father demands only one response: revenge.

OMG! WHERE did you get this narrator?!!!
Revisado: 07-30-20
I am a HUGE fan of W.E.B. Griffin.., But this narrator could put to ANY poor person to sleep with his painful voice. I have NEVER heard such horrible narration. I do not have the vocabulary to sufficiently put into words the pain to my ears he creates. If not for the desire to hear what will happen in the story I would gleefully cut my wrists to not have to listen to another moment of his voice.

A judge’s first murder trial. A defense attorney in over his head. A prosecutor out for blood and glory. The accused, who is possibly innocent. And the killer, who may have just committed the perfect crime.

Not John's best work.

Why is this "prequel" not a an epilogue? I suppose the publisher/author are not making enough. Certainly this should have been included in the follow-on story. It certainly is not worthy of "short story" status.
