Better than Game of Thrones

Absolutely Riveting

I read the Boudica series around 2009 for the first time, and loved them. So when a friend asked for a recommendation for historical fantasy books, I thought of these and looked to see if they were on audible, which of course they were. so I thought its been so long since I read them, that I would listen to them on audible again. I was not disappointed, the narrators brought the characters to life, even more than the reading. It was like listening to an audio series equivalent to Game of Thrones.

Go on a journey with Briaca and Bon. you won't regret it.

A most extraordinary tale, masterfully written

What an incredible story of bravery, breaking boundaries and pursuing your dreams. I simply could not put this book down. the characters are gloriously written with substance and detail.

A special mention to the narrator, absolutely out of this world. The voices, the passion, the fear the cadence, the sorrow and the love portrayed was like listening to a Hollywood movie. I cried, I laughed and sat waiting in suspense for each storyline to unfold. So far my favourite book of 2023.

Wow, wow, wow!!! What a twist!

Absolutely couldn't stop listening. This production is out of this world, the various voices and accents really made this tale so much more real. The storyline is phenomenal, with so many twists, you are likely to get whiplash. Lucinda is the mistress of mystery!!!

Absolutely Magical

Thank you for the most beautiful story, told with such care and grace. I loved the language used the French accent to make it mire authentic. It was escapism at it's best. Special mention also to the narators for a production that wisked us off to time forgot. I think there should be an Oscar award for audible productions too.

Really enjoyed this production. The narrator was imply superb, and the voice differentiation absolutely amazing. Great story, with plenty of twists along the way. Excellent overall.
