Historia
Victoria can't wait to start college, but there's a hitch - she can't remember anything before arriving on campus. Her memories finally spark when she sees her ruggedly handsome math professor, but she senses something terrible happened. The shock on his face affirms her fears. Toby is an alpha wolf who never thought he'd see his true love again - not after she died in his arms. Nothing could have prepared him for her walking into his class. But to his dismay, not only has she forgotten the past, she doesn't even know who she is.

Underdeveloped book
Revisado: 06-22-24
Halfway through the book I went back snd checked the reviews. I saw some pointing out the aspects I was taking issue with, but I stayed with the book. In the end I was very disappointed in the author's ability to finish plot lines. There were so many that should have been completed even though she planned on connecting the first book into a series. There were many opportunities that weren't taken. I thought maybe this was the writer's first novel, but it isn't according to her bibliography.
The characters did many things that just don't make sense- acceptance of memory loss.
There are many aspects that are unresolved-death, Jags, Alex.
There are scenes which seemingly have no purpose, they don't move the story along, they don't develop the characters- poker, students being old enough to date.
Way too many unresolved items to list without creating spoilers.

Historia
With my life back to normal - normal being a very relative word - one would think I’d catch a break. One would be very wrong. With an angel gunning for me and a demon in my bed, life couldn’t be more complicated. Not to mention, I’m going to have to make a rather large life choice. Do I want to live forever? Does anyone? Forever is a very long time. Whatever. I’ll think about it tomorrow...or next week...or next month. As long as I have my girlfriends, my dogs, a super-sized case of merlot, and my deceased squatters, I’m good to go.

series hit its stride

This book was really good. The character building and plot development from the prior books is now paying off. Thank goodness I'm able to start the next book immediately. This ending would've made me crazy waiting to see what happens next!

Historia
While running in Central Park, New York Times science writer Damon Ellis crashes—literally—into a story that just might resurrect his career…and change the course of human history. On the face of it, it seems absurd—a small biotech company in Boston called Calypso that claims to have cracked the secret of eternal youth. Surely a hoax. Or is it?

Intersection between sci-fi and reality
Revisado: 08-23-23
What a trip this story was. It had moments that made you feel like you were devolving into madness, but then that this conspiracy could be reality. Sprinkled with facts and current headline subjects it was a well- performed journey.

wrapped up nicely
Revisado: 04-02-23
I really appreciated the ending. I didn't expect it, but I appreciated it. I'm probably going to be thinking on the last few chapters for a while actually. I wasn't able to judge the author's opinion on the belief aspect. He did a good job to include the duality of a person's actions--bad guys can do good things, good guys can do bad things. But also a person's overall moral compass not being abandoned even in the most dire circumstances while others use those circumstances to justify their actions.
