Historia
I never thought I could love a monster. Then I met Machi. I shouldn't have been there that night. I shouldn't have seen that man die - or the face of his killer. Every part of me wanted to run and hide, to escape and forget what I saw. But then he caught me. He stole me and pushed me into his world. He wants me to believe that he isn't the bad guy. But I know better. Except...his hard jaw and full lips are hard to ignore, his voice makes my heart flutter, and his hands - his hands are purely toxic, unfurling my body with one touch.

Aiden Snow, 'nuff said!!
Revisado: 03-03-21
I really enjoyed this story, even though it didn't have the ending that you expected. I really loved how strong Imperial was and the way everything came together. And Aiden Snow! Love everything I've heard him narrate! This was the first time I've heard Sienna Voss and I was not disappointed! She's really brought out the strength and energy of Imperial.

Historia
When 15-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder - much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing, not even a smear of blood, to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?

Good story...bad performance...
Revisado: 01-09-13
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
No because of the horrible performance... I would however recommend the book.
Would you be willing to try another book from Cassandra Clare? Why or why not?
Yes, it's not her fault the narrator is terrible.
How could the performance have been better?
When the characters are speaking it should sound like an actual person speaking than just reading the book. Also, there is no reason for all the characters to sound exactly alike male or female.
Any additional comments?
I can't believe how poorly performed this story is. So monotoned. Every character sounds exactly the same as the narration and you can't tell the difference between what is being said by the characters and what is read until it says "Jace said" or "said Clary". I'm glad that I purchased the eBook so I can still enjoy the story without the boring droned narration.
