Emotional on every level!

This is one of the most emotional roller coaster ride I have ever been on! I can't even lie I laughed, cried, got mad I mean all of those emotions came out of me while listening to this book. I was not going to listen to it because I read some of the reviews that was not so favorable so I put it on hold and listen to a few other books. really have so much to say about it but I an afraid that I would spoil it for someone that may be on the fence with reading it. That said the story of Desa and Roc is one that if your from where they are from ? You will have a very intermit relationship with the story line. There was a lot of issues in the story that was very inappropriate and I will be the first to say that. I also want to warn the reader that there is a very strong lingo that is very disturbing and or could be disturbing to someone.

I liked this book it kinda read fast and for me the story was like a climb that never stopped until you got to the top.
I wonder if there is a story behind the friend that had to leave and if so what Is the name of it?

I really liked these stories It was a good read for me. even with the sexual content I still was able to really get an understanding of the relationship of each person.

Good story but confusion at the end!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this audio book but I would kinda let them know the ending is confusing.

What did you like best about this story?

I really can't pin point what I liked most about the story for me it was all over the place but still had me wanting to continue to listen because I was very intrigued by the plot unfolding in a very settle way. I am really hoping it is going to be a second book..

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was actually the end scene where the brother states "let's make him chase us"

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I did really have an extreme reaction until Lucy stated she loved him and he rejected her. I thought wow do he even realize he feels the same? I guess we'll know if there is a second book.

Any additional comments?

Reading some of the other comments got me really excited some stated waiting on the second book and that is what I am hoping for because the ending makes you feel as if there is going to be one.

Yes I would recommend this book to a friend because it is a story of a inter strength that is amazing and very humbling.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character believe it or not is the Sheriffs Mother because she is just so down to earth and loves hard.

What about Julia Whelan’s performance did you like?

I loved her performance she did a good job.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No I wanted to listen to it chapter by chapter so I wouldn't't miss anything.

I can't really get into any detail without giving away the story but if anyone was to buy it, it is well worth it..
