Historia
That Julie Yip-Williams survived infancy was a miracle. Then, at age 37, with two little girls at home, Julie was diagnosed with terminal metastatic colon cancer, and a different journey began. The Unwinding of the Miracle is the story of a vigorous life refracted through the prism of imminent death. When she was first diagnosed, Julie Yip-Williams sought clarity and guidance through the experience and, finding none, began to write her way through it - a chronicle that grew beyond her imagining.

condenseding and yucky
Revisado: 08-14-21
A frank and honest memoir about a woman's journey through terminal cancer. Interesting and heart wrenching in parts but is mostly, as callous as this sounds, an overwrought condescending record of a privledged woman trying to find a spiritual reason for her cancer without losing here assumption of control, social superiority and a master of her life. A eye-rolling record of how a wealthy New Yorker dies of cancer without losing her wealthy New-Yorker-ness
