It is not a comedy as advertised

Saw this on facebook and said it was Monty python funny. It is not. Finally in 3rd book there is some serious comedy and satire.

The story is good and enjoyable

Great idea of a friend story

This was a fun story to listen to anything background story. The problem with this comedy though is that it had comedy release in the form of Beasley. This way over the top character was just too stupid and took away from the whole story.

Pretty good plot, fun characters. There is growth within the characters. Kind of nice that they aren’t totally flat. Definitely an enjoyable lesson.

What a fun story. Beery creates a great universe and has great characters. Really good character development.

Things I really like: pushes hard sci fi while remaining star trek happy and good.
It is not a total dystopian future nightmare. Yes, humans have problems, but they fixed a lot of them.
I really like how he deals with business and in many ways the overarching evils of corporations.
I really like the prologues in front of every book that is so nice and gives ideas of the backstory.
I really like the writing style and the sides when the narrator gives their opinion about some thing.
This is just a fun solid book.

Narration. Dave Cruse great job. Need to listen to more of his narrations.

The bad. Seems a little campy at times esp to references that would most likely not exist in the future. Will this song, Bohemian Rhapsody be known 586 years in the future? Probably not. And for a bad. This is not that bad.

If you know anything a out the military you will hate this.

I’m not too sure why the author used the army as the backdrop to this book. This is a horrible story writing that I really wanted to like. After who does not want to hear a bad story about NTC. The details on the military are so bad I mean horrifically bad. The absolute disrespect towards the military is so bad in this story it is a cringe fest.

The performance is as actually pretty good.

I am not sure which is more difficult the story or narration in the storm is the little breeze predictable or but just felt a slog I know to get through

This is the second one in the series, where it is sometimes hard to distinguish the title from the text. Other than that I love the performance, and the stories are great.
