This manual will give you the incognito tools that'll make you a master of anonymity! Other books tell you to install Tor and then encrypt your hard drive...and leave it at that. I go much deeper, delving into the very engine of ultimate network security, taking it to an art form where you'll grow a new darknet persona - how to be anonymous online without looking like you're trying to be anonymous online.

A beginners guide to TOR
Revisado: 01-31-19
Even if you are familiar with TOR, there's probably something you can learn from this book. And if you don't even know what TOR is, this is a great place to start. Then again, if you don't know what TOR is, you might not care.

Historia
Like it or not, your every move is being watched and analyzed. Consumers' identities are being stolen, and a person's every step is being tracked and stored. What once might have been dismissed as paranoia is now a hard truth, and privacy is a luxury few can afford or understand. In this explosive yet practical book, Kevin Mitnick illustrates what is happening without your knowledge - and he teaches you "the art of invisibility".

This one is for beginners

Most of the stuff in this book I already knew. But there was the occasional surprise with something that I didn't. In short, this is for the person just starting out without a lot of knowledge of how the internet works. If you've ever hacked anything (and no, picking up your friends'' phone or computer and finding it unlocked does not count as hacking) you may find this book too basic.

Historia
In the year 2045, reality is an ugly place. The only time Wade Watts really feels alive is when he’s jacked into the OASIS, a vast virtual world where most of humanity spends their days. When the eccentric creator of the OASIS dies, he leaves behind a series of fiendish puzzles, based on his obsession with the pop culture of decades past. Whoever is first to solve them will inherit his vast fortune—and control of the OASIS itself.

Wow! Just wow!
Revisado: 01-24-18
Ready Player One is possibly my favorite book of all time. I waited way too long to get started on it because I hate everything about Wil Wheaton and I wasn't looking forward to listening to him. But I was wrong. There is just one thing that I don't hate about Wil Wheaton - his ability to narrate a book. The story is fantastic. And the narrator is also fantastic. I'm absolutely excited for the movie and I'm going to be listening to Armada by Ernest Cline in the very near future.

Historia
From 1999 to 2009, U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle recorded the most career sniper kills in United States military history. The Pentagon has officially confirmed more than 150 of Kyles kills (the previous American record was 109), but it has declined to verify the astonishing total number for this book. Iraqi insurgents feared Kyle so much they named him al-Shaitan ("the devil") and placed a bounty on his head.

It's been censored by the publisher
Revisado: 10-21-17
Look, I love this book. I love Chris Kyle. But his publisher, in what can only be described as a complete chicken-shit move, and some bullshit censorship, removed the sub-chapter about Jessa Ventura that resulted in the Kyle family being sued. This is not the book that Chris wrote!
Other than it being incomplete, it's a fantastic read. And it's absolutely nothing like the movie by the same name. If you enjoyed the movie, definitely read the book. You'll come to appreciate Chris Kyle in a new light. But that means rewarding the publisher for censorship. And that pisses me off. But it's too late now, they've already absconded with my money.
I can't reward this incomplete work with a 5th star. But it would be 5 stars if it hadn't been censored.

Horrible Author
Revisado: 02-22-17
Would you try another book from Jessie Cox and/or Mike Hennessy?
No
What could Jessie Cox have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Jessie Cox writes like an ADHD Squirrel looking for a nut. He changes scenes often, and without telling the reader that he's done so. You'll be lost relatively quickly.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment.
Any additional comments?
I really wanted to like the book. The idea for the story intrigues me, but the writing is horrible. It's just a great idea that was poorly executed.
