Historia
Powell and Silverglate shine a light on the defects of the federal criminal-justice system: overzealous prosecutors, perjury traps, negligent judges, perverse limits on self-defense, vague and overabundant criminal statutes, insufficient requirements for criminal intent, and no accountability for prosecutors. Most important, they provide a much-needed blueprint for reforming the Department of Justice and the criminal-justice system, including actions an average citizen can take to help restore justice.

A must read book for every citizen.
Revisado: 01-28-22
We must take action as citizens to neutralize the power that these criminal prosecutors are abusing. I as an innocent man went through 7 years of torture humiliation and lost my retirement my livelihood and everything including a multi-million dollar business. I was unaware this was so common this book opened my eyes and really is motivating me to embark on a mission towards advocacy for change. I was the largest in the country of a very fragmented industry and they wanted to make an example out of me having suppressed a complete official statutory provision and carve out that was explicit for my business that provides housing for people with substance use disorders. just unconscionable. this book is fantastic I got the audio version
