Historia
Somewhere out beyond the edge of the universe there is a library that contains an infinite number of books, each one the story of another reality. One tells the story of your life as it is, along with another book for the other life you could have lived if you had made a different choice at any point in your life. While we all wonder how our lives might have been, what if you had the chance to go to the library and see for yourself? Would any of these other lives truly be better? In The Midnight Library, Nora Seed finds herself faced with this decision.

Original Inspiring Unforgettable
Revisado: 03-18-23
Read this to the very end. The end is predictable but beautifully woven. But if you don’t allow the whole story to be heard the magic will be diminished. I love books with characters I care about and it draws you in. Nora and all those she cares for The librarian is perfect. Really a story to stay with you and add to your life View.

Old book with enormous wit. Times you must reach for a tissue as the laughter erupts in tears. So clever and innocent

Historia
From its unforgettable opening scene in the darkness of a forgotten cemetery in Buenos Aires, The Ministry of Special Cases casts a powerful spell. In a world turned upside down, where the past and the future, and the nature of truth itself, all take shape according to a corrupt government's whims, one man, one spectacularly hopeless man, fights to overcome his history and his name - and, if for only once in his life, to put things right.

So depressing!
Revisado: 05-20-18
If you want to end up being totally depressed, read this book! I imagine that it’s a pretty accurate depiction of the horrible events in Argentina but it left me feeling hopeless and sad. Wish I had not read it!
