Historia
As the ash and chaos from Mount Rainier’s eruption swirled and finally settled, the story of the Greenloop massacre has passed unnoticed, unexamined...until now. The journals of resident Kate Holland, recovered from the town’s bloody wreckage, capture a tale too harrowing - and too earth-shattering in its implications - to be forgotten. In this audiobook, Max Brooks brings Kate’s extraordinary account to light for the first time, faithfully reproducing her words alongside his own extensive investigations into the massacre and the legendary beasts behind it.

Great stuff

Super creative, very tense, very entertaining. Makes Bigfoot scary as hell. The narrative format actually works extremely well.

Fast paced Hollywood romp
Revisado: 12-16-22
How to Fail Epically in Hollywood is a breezy, fast-paced romp, or as our protagonist Alley Oz (rocker, armchair philosopher, and our guide to all things Hollywood) might say: it’s something a bit like three shots of tequila on a Friday night—you don’t know exactly what’s in store for you around the corner, but you know it’ll be a good time and lead to a great story in the morning.
The story hums along quicker than any traffic in the great state of California, with a rowdy, yet believable cast of characters that leave an impression, from the “too empathic for her own good best friend” to an array of sleazy Hollywood producers, directors, and other weirdoes, as well as one cameo that’s simply too good to spoil in this humble review.
Full of humor and even (dare I say it?) a decent amount of heart, and led by an entertaining main character, How to Fail Epically in Hollywood might have you chasing your own showbiz dreams—just follow the advice if you don’t want chlamydia (Chapter 6).
The narration has a lot of life to it and enhanced the story over reading.
