Historia
It's 1915, and sixteen-year-old Lora Jones is finishing up her first year as a charity student at Iverson, a prestigious, gothic boarding school on England's southern coast. While she's always felt different from everyone around her, now she finally knows why: She is a drákon, a rare, enchanted being with astonishing magical abilities. As war hits Britain's shores, and Lora reels from an unimaginable loss, she finds that her powers come with grave and dangerous responsibilities.

Great book!!
Revisado: 01-09-21
I was hooked for the first page of the first book. The second does not disappoint at all! I love the story and I love the characters. Honestly it was hard to stop listening. Shana Abe has such a beautiful way with words and paints a picture so vividly in your mind , making her books the type you think about all day.

Historia
Nell Martin is moving again, this time to the Winslow Grand Hotel, built in 1878. As Nell is settling in, strange things begin to happen. Doors lock of their own accord, writing appears on bathroom walls - and most horrifying of all - visions of a dead boy permeate her waking life. Thinking it was her mind playing tricks on her, she soon finds the past and the present colliding as she learns horrific details of a murder that happened at the hotel in 1907 involving a girl named Lea.

Loved the book.

I loved this book from page one! the author had a way of painting images in your mind and keeping you interested from start to finish. The only thing I am disappointed about is that it's over. This is definitely one of those books you miss when it's finished. It is well worth the listen/read!
