Kirby Heyborne is terrible
Revisado: 11-27-16
I bought this wanting to continue the story after the first one which was very good. and wanted to keep going with the story. But it was very hard to do because Heyborne's performance is the worst I have heard in all of Audible. I will ask for my credit back because I just can't move forward with him and if you want to keep people in a story give them consistency. use the same actor for the entire story and If you are going to change him, at least do it for someone better.

Historia
A mysterious island. An abandoned orphanage. A strange collection of very curious photographs. As our story opens, a horrific family tragedy sets 16-year-old Jacob journeying to a remote island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the ruins of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores its abandoned bedrooms and hallways, it becomes clear that the children were more than just peculiar. They may have been dangerous. And somehow—impossible though it seems—they may still be alive.

Revisado: 11-27-16
seriously loved the book and the performance is very good. I just started the second book, but it is read by somebody else, and he is simply terrible. I just got to chapter two and don't think I will be going forward. it is just that bad... please have the same guy that read this one do the others as well. it is nice to have consistency

loved the book and Roy Dotrice is amazing. how he manages to make the voices of every one is way beyond me. the only thing I didn't like is the change he gave to Peter baelish's voice. but everything else is great

the first 2 i have read, but this one was the top of the cake. the first 2 where great, but i feel like they where setting everything up for this one
Which character – as performed by Roy Dotrice – was your favorite?
Tirion is amazing. but the feeling the brings to little finger is superb.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
i am still jumping and will need to rest a bit before listening to the next one
Any additional comments?
Roy Dotrice's performance was on the spot, just amazing. on the first book i really didn't like it but on this one it was superb, way to improve on your craft Mr. Dotrice, i bow at you sir. you make the world of Westeros come alive. please, keep up the good job.

i loved the story, original and compelling
Revisado: 09-18-14
What did you love best about The Passenger?
a completely different take of what you are used to for Zombie stories. gives a new version of what can happen on a Zombie apocalypze, usually people turn in to zombies and that is the end of their story, but on this book you see what can happen next. just simply amazing
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Passenger?
best moment for me was when the passenger was able to find out he could control his body and was able to influence his actions
Which scene was your favorite?
last scene on steel city when Ethan and the zombie interact, also fight scene in Broken bridge
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
ofcourse

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
absolutely, i loved the story it is great
What did you like best about this story?
the story
What does Roy Dotrice bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
it is hard to get used to his voice, but the narration improved greatly after the first book.
Did A Clash of Kings inspire you to do anything?
it has inspired me to keep on reading this kind of books
Any additional comments?
not to crazy about Roy Detrice's Narration, but once you get used to his stile you can actually enjoy the story.
But the Edition... oh the editing is terrible. you get very easily lost between chapters. in the first book they did a much better job at this than on this one
