Jerry Robbin’s wives always somehow die and he’s always in love
Revisado: 11-17-23
I very much dislike that Jerry Robbin’s always has to be this famous hero that kills a 100 men in one draw but otherwise I guess it’s ok

Historia
Harry Sandwith, a Westminster boy, becomes a resident at the chateau of a French marquis. After various adventures he accompanies the family to Paris at the height of the French Revolution. Imprisonment and death reduce their number, and Harry finds himself beset by perils with the three young daughters of the house in his charge. After narrow escapes they reach Nantes. There the girls are condemned to death in the coffin ships, but are saved by the unfailing courage of their young protector.

Harry’s braveness and never giving up is really astounding
Revisado: 11-17-23
I started listening to this book while I was travelling and finished it about halfway I was busy with other stuff for a while but I started listening again and couldn’t stop! It’s a very educational story and gives you a good view or picture of the reign of terror. The massacre in it is very realistic

Not only do I use the Bible (many do); I have done my best to give the solution to a problem that has been spoken of from the founding of this nation. The book validates prophecy that has been buried under misunderstanding and abuses. It educates us on how the sensitive, controversial, and never-reconciled Black/White issue should be viewed and handled so as not to abuse anyone or to perpetuate oppression. The book takes the position that once this issue is reconciled, all similar issues are simultaneously addressed. All ethnicities are acknowledged. All oppression ceases.

Historia
Ever since running away at the age of fourteen, Paul-Edward, the son of a white landowner and a black slave, has had one dream: to own land every bit as good as his daddy's. While growing up, Paul-Edward loved, and feared, his father, but he loved the land unconditionally. Then, after a rash act of youthful rebellion, he leaves his family behind and vows to succeed on his own. However, for anyone black coming of age in 1880's Mississippi, this is no simple goal.
