Historia
If a man doesn't take you seriously, he may feel compelled to have a good time with you. Unfortunately this good time will last until you finally realize you're being taken for a ride or until Mr. Time Waster ultimately moves on to a woman he REALLY wants. In cases like this, what a woman really requires are two things: a healthy amount of self-respect and a set of "player-proof" dating rules that will allow her to make wise dating decisions.

Good book with helpful tips
Revisado: 12-26-18
The book was entertaining and had useful tips. The narrator was pleasant. The tips are broad strokes and not hard and fast rules but it does give some useful information of seeing inside the Male mind.

Historia
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

ABSOLUTELY fantastic book. The narrator, story, and overall performance were on point. It got a bit long at the end but other than that it was one of Brown's finest.

As a young man, Randall Woodfield had it all; he was a star athlete with good looks and an award-winning student. Working in the swinging West Coast bar scene, he had more than his share of women. But he wanted more than just sex. An appetite for unspeakable violent acts led him to cruise the I-5 highway through California to Washington, leaving a trail of victims along the way. Another riveting book by Ann Rule
Revisado: 11-06-17
There were several occasions where the book gets extremely graphic. If you've read Ann's work before, you'll be prepared knowing she doesn't hold back any details.
It's written in a fiction narrative with nonfiction details about the I-5 killer. Not her best book, but certainly worth adding to your collection if you are a fan of her work.

Historia
Al Franken, Giant of the Senate is a book about an unlikely campaign that had an even more improbable ending: the closest outcome in history and an unprecedented eight-month recount saga, which is pretty funny in retrospect. It's a book about what happens when the nation's foremost progressive satirist gets a chance to serve in the United States Senate and, defying the low expectations of the pundit class, actually turns out to be good at it.

Historia
When novelist Owen Quine goes missing, his wife calls in private detective Cormoran Strike. At first, Mrs. Quine just thinks her husband has gone off by himself for a few days - as he has done before - and she wants Strike to find him and bring him home. But as Strike investigates, he discovers that Quine's disappearance is no coincidence. The novelist has just completed a manuscript featuring poisonous pen-portraits of almost everyone he knows. If the novel were published, it would ruin lives - meaning that almost everyone in his life would have motives to silence him.

Another fantastic novel from Galbraith
Revisado: 03-11-17
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
The narrator alone is worth getting the audio version. He's dynamic.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Strike is my favorite character for his vulnerability. While the protagonist often times take a several books to flush out, Strike feels effortless to get to know.
Which character – as performed by Robert Glenister – was your favorite?
That's a toss up. Glenister is so wonderful at the primary parts, but I think it's in the smaller characters that simply hell with scenery that you really get to associate how I've man turns all these voices into people on the page.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I didn't feel shocked by the ending, but there were moments I could see in hindsight the author's planning of the story's arc.
