The story had great banter and Reid was just the swooniest MMC. That epilogue gave me all the feels. Loved it! The narrators also did a great job!

Unsteady Stole My Heart!

I really appreciate books with depth and ones where I can see why the characters love each other - this delivered.
I even got teary eyed, and not even for the romance, but for the kids. They just melted my heart. From Liam's little legs on the ice, to the broken main characters, everybody was unsteady.
The story follows Sadie who is caring for her 2 younger brothers (Liam and Oliver) while in college and juggling a job.
Rhys, the school's hockey star is struggling to keep his head in the game after suffering an injury; he meets Sadie at her brother's hockey practice.
Both characters were drawn to each other and it was wonderful seeing them find comfort in each other as they navigated their individual struggles. Sadie was a tough cookie who has never had anyone to lean on so she did the best she could, with what she had. Rhys was the boy with the sad eyes who made me smile, he was so sweet! I loved the vulnerability regarding his mental health and the way he stepped up for Sadie warmed my heart.
She was his safe place and he breathed life into her. Beautiful story!

I am blown away! Wow... what a book
I was told to go in blind with this one and I'm glad I did. It's definitely better that way so l've listed what I liked below with no spoilers:
What I like
* The story hooked me from the very beginning and even though I was a little scared at times, I could not stop reading
-Loved the characters!
-The spice was great
-The plot twist!! My jaw was on the floor!
This was perfect for spooky season! I hope you add it to your TBR

If you love dark romance, this is a must read!

Did I have to take several minutes after finishing this book to just sit quietly? YES. The love story between these two deserved a moment of silence.
The MMC Caden is a morally black villain; One who you might dislike in the beginning (I did) but stick it out, I promise he's worth it do). The FMC Billie, wasn't so innocent either, you come to realize that they are both very flawed characters but are ultimately two people dreaming of a better life outside of their terrible community.
I enjoyed this SO much and it really put me on a rollercoaster.
Throughout the story I got mad at the MCs, I rooted for them, and I cried for them. Caden now has my heart ? his love is fierce and unyielding and when it comes to his girl, he is the definition of touch her and 💀
If you love dark romance, I think this is a MUST READ. This is Book 1 in The Northshore Stories and I'm diving into the rest!

Torren's redemption was something special

What I liked
O The mix of emotions the story evoked. I was laughing and hurting right alongside these characters
O Seeing Torren's many layers
O The dual timeline was done well
o Callie's dislike for Torren made some great banter
• Deliciously angsty
Also, I cannot wait for Jonah's book!

I knew this was gonna be a 5 and Wade did not disappoint!
read very early on and Ivy
I loved Ivy! She is very relatable, sassy and a total sweetheart who listens to spicy audiobooks in her car. Wade is the grumpy, recently divorced cowboy who says no matter how hot his new employee is, she's off limits... sureee
I read this with giddy excitement the entire time. The tension was maddening and when the spice hit? It hit!
Wade gave
major BDE and Ivy was his perfect match. Her sass plus the teasing created some delicious scenes.
Training The Heart is an easy read with heartfelt moments, tension, chemistry and high heat. This for sure should be on your tore

* The sneaking around due to the forbidden nature of their relationship
› That one plot point that made me want to strangle a particular someone
› Max DiMarco was delicious! And Joey was lowkey a badass

› The audiobook was perfect and needs to be listened to. It completely elevates the story

Amazing plot

There were so many layers to this story with secrets and lies that unfolded masterfully. Even when I thought everything was out in the open, Faith Summers said hold my beer!

What I also liked was the progression of Anastasia and Desmier's relationship. The added element of her feelings for his brother (the jilted groom) created an extra layer of complication that I enjoyed.
If you love plot heavy books with twists and turns, add this one to your TBR.
